Welcome to Art 1! This is the entry level class all artists must take. Any 9-12th grader can attend to fulfill their Fine Arts Credit. 8th graders may apply to take this class early, just see the middle school counselor for details. Art 1 is a survey course that allows artists to try a full variety of materials and approaches to find their strengths and passions.
 
After Art 1, students may choose Drawing, Sculpture, and Painting pathways to dive deep into individual art worlds. The supply list for Art 1 is located on this page. West asks that students purchase their own supplies so they may work from home when needed and care for their own materials. Please contact Mrs. Gereghty with any questions or concerns.
