Welcome to Agricultural Science and Technology and the West FFA
 
FFA provides the next generation of leaders who will change the world. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. 
 
I graduated from West High School in 1976. Got my Bachelor's of Science Degree from Tarleton State University in 1982 and my Master's of Science Teaching in 1984. I taught 4 years at Hillsboro High School and come to West High School in 1988 and have been here for the past 35  years. This year start my 41st year of teaching. My certifications include Ag Mechanics, Ag Cooperative Training, General Agriculture, Ag Farm and Ranch  Maintenance
Ag Farm and Ranch Mechanical Repair, and American Welding Society. 
 
I serve on the Board of the Agriculture Teachers of Texas, serve as President of the McLennan County Jr Livestock Show,  served as Chairman of State Major Livestock Show and on the Major Livestock Show Committee, and several other committees that serve our students.
 
For the 2022-2023 I was selected as the Region 12 Secondary Teacher of the Year.
