Introduction:
I graduated from West High School in 1990. After receiving my Associates of Applied Science degree in Business from McLennan Community College, I then attended Texas A&M University where I received my Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting and my Masters of Science degree in Accounting. After working the accounting field for a few years, I entered Tarleton State University's TMATE program to get my teacher certification. I taught at Kopperl ISD for 8 years, Meridian ISD for 2 years, and have been at West ISD for 17 years. My teaching certifications include: Technology Applications for grades EC-12, Secondary Business Administration for grades 6-12, Secondary Basic Business for grades 6-12, and Mathematics for grades 4-8. My husband and I have been married for 28 years and we have two daughters, a teacher/coach at Bosqueville High School and a Junior at the University of Arkansas.
