Bio Chem Lab, Inc. Science Scholarship
Students must possess a minimum grade point average of 3.2 (4.0 Scale) and an interest in pursuing science and/or a science-related career.  Applicants must be High-School seniors attending West High School in West, Texas at the time of application.  Award recipient must provide proof of enrollment at a junior college, college, or university in the state of Texas beginning in the Fall of the graduating year prior to receiving the award.
The Goss-Michael Foundation Scholarship 3/30/2019 Seniors pursuing a visual arts education at the college level. All scholarships are merit-based in the amount of $5,000, applied toward tuition at the student’s chosen college or university upon acceptance. In addition to the funding, the recipient of the visual arts scholarships will have one piece of art framed and displayed at The Goss-Michael Foundation and will be featured on the Foundation website and monthly newsletter. Consideration for each award is based on artistic and scholastic achievement, school and community participation, and leadership.

Catholic Union of Texas -The KJT Society #31 -West Youth Scholarship 3/31/2019 Applicant must be a member of KJT Society #31-West
Graduating Catholic Senior from West, Penelope, Tours, Hillsboro, and Abbott parishes.  Must graduate in the spring of the current academic year.  Must provide academic transcripts/documentation from a high school official that he/she will graduate and plan to attend an institution of higher learning. 
The Charles, Lela and Mary Slough Foundation Scholarship 4/1/2019
Official high school transcript (printed after January 1st) with a GPA converted to a 100 point scale (GPA's exceeding 100 will be disqualified) Formula to use 20(GPA+1). Official transcripts from any college (including dual credit). American Fire Sprinkler Association Scholarship 4/1/2019 1. The High School Senior College Scholarship Contest is open to high school seniors who are citizens or aliens legally residing in the USA.  Scholarship funds are payable to the winner’s college/university or certified trade school in the United States; winner must enroll for classes beginning no later than Fall 2019 session. Winner selection is NOT based on financial need, GPA or demographic criteria. Home-schooled students may apply as long as course of study is equivalent to that of a senior in high school. Relatives of AFSA staff or NATIONAL board members may not enter.
Texas Association for Pupil Transportation 4/1/2019 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students are encouraged to apply. See the website for more details. Several different scholarships are available.
Waco-McLennan County Texas A&M University Mothers' Club Scholarship 4/1/2019 Senior must attend Texas A&M University in the Fall 2018. See website for more information.
West Fair & Rodeo Association Scholarship 4/1/2019 WHS Graduating Senior; Sealed official high school transcript (to include SAT or ACT score, GPA & Class Rank); A recommendation letter from your Principal or Counselor; One (1) letter of recommendation (other than a family member); A one-page essay with 1) reasons why you qualify for this scholarship and 2) what accomplishments make you believe you are a good investment for receiving the scholarship.
West Warrior Kids Foundation Scholarship 4/1/2019 Must be a graduating senior from an eligible school district (Abbott, Aquilla, Gholson, Penelope, or West) with plans to attend a college or trade school. Must be a student who has been impacted by a life threatening illness (personally or an immediate family member).
Association of Texas Professional Educators (ATPE) West Local Unit Scholarship 4/3/2019 Students must have a GPA of 85 or higher, have applied to a 4-year university, Jr. College, and show a financial need. The student also needs to be exploring a career in education.  Students receiving scholarships that cover their full tuition will not be eligible for the West ATPE Local Scholarship.  In order to receive this scholarship students must enroll in courses no later than the fall semester following graduation.  
Texas Ag Industries Memorial Scholarship 4/5/2019 Deserving students in any major are eligible, as long as they are direct dependents of a TAIA member.  TAIA membership is by company, and employee of a member company is allowed all benefits of membership.
VFW Post 4819 Auxiliary Scholarship 4/5/2019 High School graduating senior that has a local VFw Veteran or VFW Auxiliary member belonging to the West VFW/Auxiliary Post 4819
RVOS West Lodge #78 4/6/2019 Parent or grandparent must be a member. Student must have earned at least an 85 average during four years of high school.
Waco-McLennan County Retired Teachers in Memory of Jack Felts Public High School Senior Scholarship 4/6/2019 Parent/Grandparent MUST BE (or have been) a public school employee; if parent/grandparent is retired, must be a member of TX Retired Teachers' Association and the local unit; a high school graduating senior of a McLennan County public high school; class rank should be in the upper half of their class; financial need/special circumstances will be considered.
West Athletic Booster Club Scholarship 4/12/2019 WHS Senior who has competed in or completed one sport during their Senior year. Qualifying sports are: cross country, volleyball, football, basketball, powerlifting, track, baseball, softball, golf, cheerleading. Points will be awarded for playing multiple sports for Senior year, junior, sophomore and freshman year.  Parent/Guardian must be a member of the WABC for all four years beginning with the Class of 2022 (2021 - 3 years, Class of 2020 - 2 years, Class of 2019 - 1 year).  Parent/Guardian must volunteer a minimum of 8 hours for WABC during Senior Year plus additional hours (see applications details).

West Athletic Booster Club Nick Muska/Nick Van Pelt Memorial Scholarship 4/13/2019 WHS Senior who has participated in at least one sport for four consecutive years and have remained in athletics for all four years. Student must have participated in one extra-curricular activity during his/her entire Senior year. Student must have a 3.0 GPA or higher during their Senior year in all of their classes.  They also must have completed 25 hour sof community service during their Senior year between the dates of June 11, 2018-April 12, 2019. Student must submit a one-page typed essay describing your educational goals and future plans.  Include transcript. 
Kiwanis Club of West 4/13/2019 WHS graduating senior enrolling in an accredited academic college in the Fall 2018 as a full-time student; student must make formal application for the scholarship on the form below.
Blogging for Progress Scholarship 4/15/2019 Available to students who are age 16 or older as of April 15 and will be attending a regionally or nationally accredited college, university or vocational school. Students create a blog and write about current events, society, the environment, and public policy. Winners are selected based on an accumulation of participation points.
Kiwanis Club of Waco Seniors Scholarship 4/15/2019 Student must be entering MCC or TSTC in the fall following graduation; proof of acceptance to college or university; leadership and community service will be considered.
Westfest Inc. Scholarship 4/15/2019 Senior planning to enroll as a full-time college student in Fall 2018. Based upon honors and activities participated throughout high school. 
Nicholas Van Pelt Scholarship 4/15/2019 Applicants should be a graduating senior planning to attend a college, university, junior college or trade school full-time in Fall 2018. Student must be planning a career in a science or math-related field or career working with physically or mentally challenged people.
West Masonic Lodge #475 Scholarship 4/16/2019 Must be a student of West High School. Must follow school attendance requirements. Must have a minimum GPA of 75% both Junior and Senior years.  Must be a graduating senior, who plans to attend either a four year institution, community college, or vocational training institution upon graduation, and must enroll for the upcoming Fall Semester. Must have no discipline referrals, no failing grades Junior and Senior year, no disruptive behavior, suspension, or demerits.

Lance Van Willenborg Scholarship 4/19/2019 Must be a graduating senior and plan to attend a college, university, junior college or trade school full-time in the Fall following graduation. Proof of acceptance to college must be included in the application.
Justin Waters Courage Award Scholarship 4/19/2019 WHS senior who has faced serious adversity in his or her life should submit completed application and essay by the deadline. 
Shelly Berger Memorial Scholarship 4/19/2019 WHS graduating seniors should submit the application including an essay indicating educational goals.
West ISD Scholarship 4/24/2019 WHS senior with a GPA of 85 or higher, and demonstrate good character and citizenship.
West High School Business Department Scholarship 4/24/2019 Must have a college major in a business related field, Must have a high school GPA of 85 or better. Must have taken business classes at WHS. Must submit essay requirement that is on the application.
MAC Grant Application 5/1/2019 Available to McLennan County high school seniors only. 
Sertoma, Int. Scholarship for Students Who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing 5/1/2019 Sertoma’s Communicative Disorders Scholarship, funded by the Sertoma Annual Fund, is for graduate students pursing advanced degrees in audiology or speech-language pathology from institutions in the U.S. These scholarships, worth $1,000 each, are awarded in the spring to help offset the cost of tuition, books and fees incurred during the following school year. Sertoma’s Communicative Disorders Scholarships provides more funds nationally for graduate level study in communicative disorders than any other single organization.
West Chamber of Commerce 5/1/2019 Scholarship is for a West High School senior and must be used in the fall or spring semester following their high school graduation.
Heart of Texas Chapter Military Officers Association of America 5/10/2019 Scholarships are awarded to all deserving students attending or planning to attend accredited schools of higher education.  Selection preference is given to members of an active duty military or military veteran's immediate family member, a member of the military or a veteran, or to a dependent, spouse or widow(er) of a fallen warrior. Applicants must reside in the central Texas area.
