Important WHS Assessment Information:

The following tests are being offered this Spring to High School students who are interested:

8th, 9th, and 10th Graders:

West High School will be offering the PSAT Exam on March 19th to any 8th, 9th, or 10th graders who are interested in taking the exam. This is an optional exam. If you would like to take the PSAT at West High School, please fill out this form and pay Ms. Murphy (High School Counselor's office) $15 for the exam.

The test is offered only online.

You will have 2 hours and 14 minutes to complete the exam.

The test has 2 sections with a total of 215 questions. Here is the breakdown of questions per section and the amount of time you have for each section.

Reading and Writing: 64 minutes for 54 Questions

Break: 10 minutes

Math: 70 minutes for 44 Questions

Deadline for Registration: February 13th

11th and 12th Graders:

ACT TEST

West High School will be offering the ACT test to Juniors and Seniors on March 26th. This is an optional exam. If you would like to take the ACT at West High school, please fill out this form and pay Ms. Murphy $40 for the exam.

The test has 4 sections with a total of 215 questions. Here is the breakdown of questions per section and the amount of time you have for each section.

English: 45 minutes for 75 questions

Math: 60 minutes for 60 questions

Reading: 35 minutes for 40 questions

Science: 35 minutes for 40 questions

West High School will also be offering the SAT Exam on March 18th. All JUNIORS will be taking the SAT. Seniors are able to sign up to test using the form attached below.

If you would like to take the SAT at West High School, please fill out this FORM and pay Ms. Murphy $40 for the exam by February 13th.
